Sri Saraswathi Shishu Mandir is established in the year 1968 with 50 students. At present the school runs from LKG to X standard with strength of above 250 students. Sri Saraswathi Shishu Mandir functions under the guidance of Sri Saraswathi Vidyapeetham which is affiliated to Vidya Bharathi - Akhilabharatiya shikshasamsthan, an all India voluntary organization established to provide quality education with emphasis on all round development of the child.The basic aim of the school is to provide education in mother tongue up to 10th standard.

In Sri Saraswthi Shishu Mandir, 30 minutes of time is allotted to physical events and exercises daily. In this training will be imparted in various activities which include Yoga, Ghosh(spl musical instruments), Karate, Legims, Chekka Bhajana and Kolatam.
Learning as an ongoing, wholesome process will be evaluated in a continuous and comprehensive manner. The Comprehensive Assessment process, at this stage, will focus on the daily, consistent progress made by the child in academic as well as co-curricular activities
Keeping in view the STATE recommended system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation, the session will be spread over two semesters. Students will be evaluated through regular assessment of both Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic areas.
Examination and Evaluation in different subject groups will be strictly as per STATE guidelines. Class XI will have weekly tests, First Term Examination and Second Term Examination. Maximum Marks and pattern of Question Paper in each subject will be as per the directions of STATE Syallabus.
The construction of a new building with all modern
amenities adhering to CBSE and International School standards has begun and is expected to be ready by
2023-24 Academic Year.
The new facility will have an Academic Block, an Auditorium, play
ground with facilities for Track& Field, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Tennis, Yoga, Music & Dance
floors, Alumni Block and accommodation for Students & Teaching staff.
The development of whole facility is taken up in multiple phases. Phase-I of the plan is to complete
the construction of the Academic Building with 40 class rooms, Staff rooms, conference rooms, a library, separate labs for
Physics, chemistry, Biology and computers. Yoga and Music rooms are also being planned
